Our People

There are 25 of us: engineers, designers, sales and application engineers. We are unified in our belief that solar technology is critical to a sustainable future, therefore, we have made it our mission to promote the use of renewable energy by reducing costs, increasing performance and raising awareness.

Based in our own premises in Bicester, Oxfordshire Zeta have a fully resourced office and product assembly facility ensuring a complete service from concept to finished product. The Zeta team design, specify, verify, produce, assemble and quality assure all products delivering a complete service to the customer. With thousands of operational systems in the field Zeta have the experience to deal with any project.

Management

Paul Tyrrell - Technical Director

Graduated 1975 with a degree in Electronic Engineering and has worked in the nuclear, medical, precision machine tool and oil industries. Taught electronic product design for 4 1/2 years at Oxford Brookes University. He has a highly innovative design capability across many disciplines.

Philip Shadbolt - Commercial Director

Graduated in 1983 with a degree in Electronics and studied for diploma in Marketing in 1991. He is customer focussed and dedicated to offering innovative product solutions to meet exacting customer requirements.

Carl Blissett - Development Director

Graduated in 1995 with a degree in Electronic Engineering. Heads up a team of 5 engineers focussed on delivering cost effective innovative electronic solutions on time and to budget.

Philip Quartly - Operations Director

Graduated in 1995 with a degree in Electronic Engineering. He is a highly personable professional, with experience in production management and a high level of technical skills. He is responsible for financial controls and the day to day smooth running of the business operations.

Alex Collett – Production Manager

Alex completed a BTEC National Diploma in Computing and Electronics in 1998. He has 5yrs experience within the Subcontractor Manufacturing and Test Industry. He is responsible for the production and delivery of Zeta products to customer requirements, heading up a production team of seven.
